75. ... and growing

The cygnets are starting to look like gawky teenagers.

73. Splash of colour

The bright yellow of wattle blossom in late winter always gives promise that spring isn't too far away.

72. Eyes left

It was very cold again today, so I just popped across the road and photographed the 'neighbours' before heading back to the warmth indoors.

71. Home to rent

It was freezing cold today, with even a bit of snow. Too cold to spend much time outside but we stopped on the way home from lunch and I found this empty snail shell.

70. Dappled light

I like the dappled light on these odd looking trees, half-dead but with shoots of new growth.

69. Bird on the wing

I haven't seen this bird at the pond before. It's white plumage stood out against the water and, although it's not a great photo, I was pleased to be able to snap it as it spread its wings and took flight.

68. Clouds get in the way

After a sunny morning, the clouds swept in and it was starting to rain by the time I got around to taking a photo. However, I like the layers of clouds shown in this photo.

I don't know what these flowers are but they look very pretty against the green grass.

65. And they keep growing and growing ...

Hey, it's more than a week since I last posted a photo of the cygnets. Photographing the cygnets is always an interesting exercise - trying to get close enough to get a good photo but not so close that I incur the wrath of the papa swan.

63. Grazing kangaroo

There was a very tame mob of kangaroos where we stayed at Mulgoa and I was able to get close enough to take a reasonable photo.

62. Camellia

I love camellias, so take every opportunity to photograph them. I found this one in a garden in Mulgoa, where we spent the weekend. Plus I like the added interest of the ants.
