These cygnets are only a couple of days old. I would have liked to get closer but Papa Swan was hovering nearby and I didn't want to incur his displeasure.

Hey, it's more than a week since I last posted a photo of the cygnets. Photographing the cygnets is always an interesting exercise - trying to get close enough to get a good photo but not so close that I incur the wrath of the papa swan.

I like the ruffled feathers on this swan, which lives on the West Belconnen Pond, not far from my home.
