It was very cold again today, so I just popped across the road and photographed the 'neighbours' before heading back to the warmth indoors.

Lots of grass has sprouted up around Wagga Wagga following recent rain and these black and white cows looked great against the green grass and blue sky. A scene of bucolic charm.

13. Meet the neighbours

Yes, I live in the nation's capital ... but there are reasons for it being called 'The Bush Capital'. There is a native grassland reserve across the road and every so often animals move in for a few months, probably to control the non-native grasses. These are some of the current residents.
